This technology achieves high-quality regeneration and high-value utilization of waste polyester through efficient alcoholysis and transesterification methods. It not only reaches the level of virgin polyester in performance, but also significantly reduces carbon emissions. The National Development and Reform Commission clearly stated that it will combine relevant activities to encourage financial institutions to provide financing support for the application of green technologies in the Catalog.

 

On January 20, the National Development and Reform Commission, together with the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and the National Energy Administration, issued the "Catalogue of Green Technology Promotion (2024 Edition)" (No. 1812 of the National Development and Reform Commission [2024], hereinafter referred to as the "Catalogue").

The Catalog selects 112 advanced green technologies in seven major industries, including energy conservation and carbon reduction, environmental protection, resource recycling, energy green and low-carbon transformation, ecological protection, restoration and utilization, infrastructure green upgrade, and green services, and lists the process technology content, main technical parameters, actual application cases, ecological benefits, etc. of each technology. All relevant parties can understand the main principles, path directions, application scenarios and implementation effects of the relevant technologies, and promote and use them in combination with their own actual conditions.

In the next step, the National Development and Reform Commission will work with relevant departments to organize technology roadshows, achievement promotion and other activities in conjunction with the National Ecological Day and the National Energy Conservation Publicity Week to promote the industrialization and application of technologies. Financial institutions are encouraged to strengthen financing support for the application of green technologies in the Catalog through green credit, green bonds, and carbon emission reduction support tools. Key preparation technology of recycled polyester and membrane materials

Industry category: Resource recycling

Process technology content: The method of combining efficient alcoholysis and transesterification is adopted to achieve efficient recycling of waste polyester; the development of refining, modification and recombination technologies realizes high-quality regeneration of waste polyester; the development of biaxial stretching molding processing technology, the preparation of recycled polyester film, realizes the high-value utilization of recycled products. A complete set of process technology routes from waste polyester to recycled polyester, and then to functional recycled polyester film is formed.

Main technical parameters: The indicators of recycled polyester can reach the level of original polyester, b value ≤ 5, melting point 181℃, impurity diethylene glycol content 0.9%. The transverse tensile strength of recycled polyester film is 346MPa, and the longitudinal elongation at break is 567%.

Application Cases

Case 1: Technical transformation project of functional polyester synthesis production line of Henan Yuanhong Polymer New Materials Co., Ltd. Construction scale: annual production of 50,000 tons of recycled polyester materials. Ecological benefits: annual carbon emission reduction of 41,600 tons.

Case 2: Recycled polyester rPETG resource recycling demonstration project of Xinxiang Xinyin New Materials Co., Ltd. Construction scale: annual production of 20,000 tons of recyclable polyester (rPETG) film materials. Ecological benefits: annual carbon emission reduction of 24,760 tons. It is understood that there are related projects under construction in China, but they have not been disclosed yet.
