Yangwen , sales director of the Plastic Recycling Branch of the China Synthetic Resin Association, comprehensively sorted out the development of China's waste plastics industry in the report "Analysis of the Current Situation of China's Waste Plastics Industry ". From the individual economy and waste material recycling in the initial stage to the vigorous development, structural transformation, and technological upgrading in the transition period, Cheng Yangwen elaborated on the characteristics of each stage. He also analyzed the sources of waste plastics from multiple perspectives, including living sources, dismantling plants, professional fields, marine plastics, and post-industrial sources, and pointed out that there is still a lot of room for improvement in China's annual recycling of waste plastics in 2024. Sharing practical experience in waste sorting in urban communities
Song Hui, co-founder and general manager of Shanghai Jing'an Aifen Environmental Technology Consulting Service Center, shared "Classification and Recycling of Domestic Waste in Urban Communities" . Taking Guangsheng Apartment as an example, Song Hui introduced in detail the whole process of garbage classification work mode, from community survey, establishment of working group, personnel training, hardware equipment, publicity and mobilization in the introduction period, to formal launch, duty supervision, guidance, regular meetings, incentives in the implementation period, and summary evaluation and system construction in the maintenance period. She said that through this series of measures, Guangsheng Apartment has achieved good results, with more than 90% of residents participating in garbage classification and 86% of wet garbage bag removal rate.
